Carnfunnock Country Park covers 191 hectares of mixed woodland, walking trails which are waymarked, coastline and beautiful gardens.

The Walled Garden is open all year round with an orienteering course, maze, 9 hole golf course, biodiversity trail, children's adventure playground and wildlife garden.

Carnfunnock is an excellent educational location for a school, youth group or a birthday party with a difference! In a safe, supervised setting the children can learn about the natural world and get hands-on experience, up close and personal with the countryside. GETTING THERE

By Road:
From the direction of Larne Town Centre: Follow the signs and drive along the Coast Road (A2), through Drains Bay. The Park entrance is 0.5 miles on the left.

From the direction of Glenarm: Follow the signs for Larne and drive along the Coast Road (A2), through Ballygally. The Park entrance is 1 mile on the right.

By Bus:
Translink provides a regular bus service along the Coast Road (A2). The nearest bus stop is located just outside the entrance to the Park. For timetable information please contact Translink Tel: 028 9066 6630. Service 162 (all year): Larne to Cushendun. Service 252 (seasonal): Belfast to Coleraine.
