Waterfoot Beach
Waterfoot Beach is a popular tourist destination located on the Causeway Coastal Route on the eastern coast of Northern Ireland. Waterfoot Beach is approximately 1 km in length and comprised entirely of sand. The bathing area is backed by dunes which run the length of the beach and the village of Waterfoot is at the northern end of the beach. However, the area is essentially rural.
GETTING THERE
By Car
Waterfoot Beach is located along the Causeway Coastal Route South from Bushmills, along the A42 and A2 from Ballymena and along the Causeway Coastal Route North A2 from Larne.
By Public Transport
Bus service number 162 travels to Cushendall. (Waterfoot Beach is located 1 mile south of Cushendall).
