Belmont Park is an urban park in East Belfast. It includes a network of paths which lead through grassland, wildflower meadows and copses of bluebells and trees.
A footbridge provides access across the ring road from one side of the park to the other. Adjacent to the park is an allotment site.
Art lovers will also enjoy 'Unmasked', a series of large, colourful carved figures designed by Owen Crawford as part of their Art In The Park Programme, which are located in the park.
In 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 Belmont Park was awarded the Green Flag Award, which recognises the best open spaces in the UK.
Enter the park at Cairnburn Road or Circular Road. If you are travelling by bus from Belfast city centre, take Metro no. 27, 28 or 29.
Open all year 7.30am to sunset. See the Belfast City Council link for details.
