From its north-eastern tip of Torr Head, Antrim is just 12 miles from the Scottish Coast
There are various outdoor options in County Antrim. The most famous being the Giant's Causeway which is possibly one of the most visited natural attractions in Northern Ireland. Families will enjoy a ferry trip across to Rathlin Island where there a range of walks and a seabird centre or a visit to the one of the white sandy beaches along the Causeway Coast. The Glens of Antrim, known locally as simply "The Glens" is a region in County Antrim. There are 9 glens that radiate from the Antrim Plateau to the coast. The biggest of the 9 glens is Glenariff, where you can discover a magnificent hidden gem - the waterfall walk at Glenariff Forest Park to see the spectacular waterfalls.
