Cam Forest covers a total of just over 1,300 hectares about five and a half miles east of Limavady, straddling the North Sperrins ridge. It can be explored via informal (non waymarked) walking and cycling trails.
The Forest contains a multitude of wildlife from badgers and red squirrels to kestrels and buzzards.
There is also small horse riding trail consisting of two main loops, one being just over 3 kilometres and the other almost 5 kilometres, which combined gives Forest Service Permit Holders roughly 8 kilometres of off road trails.
The entrance is off the B66 Limavady (Ringsend Road), which is halfway between Limavady and the main Coleraine – Garvagh A29 road.
Open daily from 8am until sunset
