Clements Wood
Clements Wood includes a variety of habitats. The wood is mature with the addition of hazel copses. Open spaces and wet meadows can also be found.
The woodland provides good habitats for plant and wildlife. Mature hedgerows border the wood and late summer sees a burst of colour with seasonal ground flora.
GETTING THERE
Clements Wood is located just outside of Ballynure on the Ballygowan Road. Leave the A8 Larne Road at the sign for Ballyboley.
If heading from Ballynure take the bridge over the carriageway and join Moss Road. Once on Moss Road turn left onto the Ballygowan Road after 200m.
If heading from Larne turn left onto Moss Road. Once on Moss Road turn left onto the Ballygowan Road after 200m.
