The glen consists of an area of mixed woodland with a wide variety of trees, plants and birds.
Angling is a popular activity and facilities are available for the disabled. A car park and picnic area have been built adjacent to the start of the riversidewalk which leads to the waterfalls and Cockle House.
Crumlin Glen is signed off to the left on the Nutt's Corner Road in Crumlin, just before the railway bridge as you head out of the town.
