Giants Causeway

44 Causeway Road, Bushmills, Antrim

The Giants Causeway is possibly one of the most visited natural attractions that Northern Ireland has to offer. Its 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic eruption, rise up to 12 metres from the County Antrim Coast to make this world famous UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Causeway is located close to Bushmills, Coleraine and Ballycastle along Northern Irelands breathtaking and the rugged Causeway coastline. It is flanked by the wild North Atlantic Ocean and a landscape of dramatic cliffs.

The area provides plenty to do and see. Keep an eye out for the old lady climbing the hill, the Giants Boot, the Camel and have a seat on the Wishing Chair.

The new visitors centre, with its basalt columns and shiny glass, hosts an interactive exhibition exploring the Giant's Causeway.

Outdoor audio guide availabe, providing information in nine languages. Audio guide also available for visually imparied visitors.
