This park is situated near the start of the Causeway Coastal Route, just off the Shore Road near the University of Ulster at Jordanstown, along the shores of Belfast Lough.
The park has an excellent modern play area for children from the ages of 3 to 12 and energetic adults will enjoy the an outdoor gym. After a walk or cycle along the excellent path that goes between the site and Belfast, you can enjoy a picnic, with panoramic views of Belfast Lough or sample local food in Barista Coffee House.
The open grass area provides a great space for football, kite flying and hosts the Shoreline Festival on the bank holiday weekend at the end of August.
Culture lovers will want to explore the art installations along the coastal path from Loughshore Park to Hazelbank Park and learn about the heritage and wildlife.
You can go walking or cycling right from Jordanstown Loughshore right along to Hazelbank Park and into Belfast
There is a caravan park that is open all year round however 24 hrs notice is required for bookings. Booking is essential.
The coffe shop, Café Barista is open daily (Monday - Sunday) but opening hours may vary slightly. Café Barista on Facebook.
Jordanstown Loughshore Park is situated on the Shore Road between Whiteabbey and Greenisland.
