Knockmany Forest

Knockmany Road Augher, Tyrone

Knockmany Forest is a collection of woodlands that lies within four miles of Augher. The woodlands are conifer and broadleaved stands.

There is a car park and waymarked trail in the forest and visitors can also access the Northern Ireland Environment Agency managed Knockmany Passage Tomb (Anya’s Tomb).

The Carleton Trail also passes through Knockmany Forest, taking in places associated with the novelist William Carleton.

 

GETTING THERE

Access to the forest car park is via the B83 Knockmany Road, approximately four miles from Augher.
