Within each habitat, a wealth of wildlife can be seen. An attractive park within the conservation village of Moneymore. A short circular walk comprising of wildlife pond. In 1992, Cookstown District Council purchased the 5-acre site at Ministers Walk and developed the park in partnership with local Moneymore community groups, with much emphasis placed on creating a conservation habitat for wildlife. In 2023, Mid Ulster Council redeveloped the facility using funding provided via the COVID Recovery Small Settlements Regeneration Programme, a collaboration between the Department for Communities, the Department of Agriculture, Environment, and Rural Affairs, and the Department for Infrastructure.
