Musgrave Park

Stockman's Lane Belfast, Co. Antrim BT9 7JB Metro Services 9A-C to Upper Lisburn Road, 90, 92 Stockman’s Lane, Antrim

Musgrave Park, located in south Belfast, opened to the public in 1924. The park is named after Sir Henry Musgrave, who lived in nearby Drumglass House, and who donated the land used to build the park. Park features include walks and horticultural displays.

The park contains tennis courts, two bowling greens and Gaelic football, hurling and camogie pitches. Musgrave Park also contains an innovative therapy garden which combines different therapeutic features in one space.

A wonderful feature is the 'whispering' wall which is the central focus of the garden. This is fitted with acoustic equipment and a mosaic finish to encourage sensory, stimulatory and interactive play.
