Portstewart Strand Beach, owned and cared for by the National Trust, is one of Northern Ireland's finest and most popular beaches for all ages.

Portstewart Strand Beach is the perfect spot to spend lazy summer days and take long walks into the sand dunes, which are a haven for wild flowers and butterflies. Explore the dune system and waymarked nature trail. Visit the Barmouth bird hide for fantastic bird watching.

This beach has also been ranked (99th) in CNN's World's 100 Best Beaches.

Portstewart Strand Beach is located just outside the centre of Portstewart town and is well signposted.

By Public Transport

Bus Service from Coleraine (connections from Belfast route 218).

Train station located in Coleraine.

By Bicycle

NCN93 runs nearby.
