Randalstown Forest incorporates a national nature reserve, wildfowl refuge area and a deer enclosure. Within the deer enclosure, 20 to 25 fallow deer are retained, providing an excellent opportunity to quietly and safely observe them.
The forest has several walking routes. These walks are situated in a working forest environment and may be subject to diversion and closure from time to time.
Adjacent to the forest is the World of Owls Wildfowl Centre. This provides an excellent opportunity to get up close with the birds.
