Located next to Gilford Community Centre next to the Upper River Bann. Small open space area. Outdoor amenities include pump track, short multi-use trail with 8 outdoor fitness stations, 115 m canoe trail, canoe steps, picnic tables, and viewing platform over the river. A footbridge links the site to open space on the other side of the river and the village Ample parking. Toilets available in community centre
From the park there are great views along the river to the red brick Gilford Mill. In the 1840s Dunbar McMaster & Co. opened a large 5 storey spinning mill for flax spinning and thread production. The wall along the opposite bank is part of the old millrace. It was the advantage of the hydro-power created from the fast flowing River Bann that prompted the developemnt of the mill.

From the centre of Gilford follow Mill Street and turn right onto Bridge Street. After crossing the bridge Stramore Road is on the right.
The community centre is open from 12-5 Monday to Friday. The park is open at all times
