Whiterocks Beach, forming the eastern end of the East Strand/Curran Strand beach and within walking distance of the busy resort of Portrush, is famous for its white chalk cliffs.
Whiterocks Beach is a very popular location for surfing and surf kayaking owing to the presence of large strong powerful waves throughout much of the year. It is also a very popular beach for walkers, dog walkers and horse riders.

Whiterocks Beach car park is accessed via a narrow access road off Dunluce Road (the main A2 coast road).

A daily bus service passes close to Whiterocks Beach entrance.
By Bicycle
NCN Route 93 passes through Portrush and surrounding countryside, approx. 0.5 miles from
Whiterocks Beach.
By Foot
Tourists can follow the UW/CCW that passes through Whiterocks Beach. Also, a roadside footway connects Portrush to the Whiterocks site.
