This beautiful little broadleaf woodland sits atop a small hill just outside of the town centre. Its surfaced paths provide stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
The site is named after the Ballynahinch Windmill and its stump still sits at the top of the hill. This is a tranquil spot with an abundance of birdlife.
From the town centre follow Windmill Lane. Take Loughside Drive on the right hand side and enter Windmill Avenue.
