Favour Royal forest is known for the wildflower meadow and deer lawn. You can also see St Patrick’s chair, a gigantic druid stone and a ‘well’ credited with healing powers close to the forest. The Forest Walk is a 1mile long circular route in the forest, near Augher.
From the car park follow the path behind the map/ information path. This path leads clockwise around the forest, alongside the river and back to the car park.
This walk is situated in a working forest environment and may be subject to diversion and closure from time to time.
