Gilford Riverside Walk
The Riverside walk consists of a 845m riverside walking & cycling trail through a short section of walkway over the remains of an old millrace. The route passes over part of the old millrace & land between the river Bann & an infilled mill pond which now connects the Stramore Road with Woodlands Park
TRAIL INFORMATION
The trail starts at the car park off Bridge Street in the centre of the town and follows the river towards the Mill.
Continue straight until you reach the viewing platform where you can take a short break and enjoy the views and the bubbling of the river as it flows over the weir. Continue straight and you will soon reach Woodlands Park. You can stop there a while or return the same way.
