Knockmany Forest is a collection of woodlands that lies within four miles of Augher. There is a car park and waymarked trail in Knockmany. Visitors can access the Knockmany Passage Tomb (Anya’s Tomb) managed by the Northern Ireland Environment Agency. The car park, waymarked trails and recreational facilities at Knockmany are managed and maintained by Mid Ulster District Council. The woodlands are conifer and broadleaved stands. The forest blocks are Knockmany main block, Lumfords Glen, Weldens, Killyfaddy, The Shank, Eskerna Brogue, Tullycorker, Birney’s Hill, Glenageeragh, Longridge, Burtons, Tycanny, Errigal and Garvaghy.

GETTING TO THE START
Access to the forest car park is via the B83 Knockmany Road, about four miles from Augher.
