Shane Todd and Co – Every Right Side of Outside Video to Date
The Right Side of Outside is a series of simple messages which, when followed, ensures people enjoy the outdoors in a safe and responsible way.
Over the past few years, we’ve had a lot of fun creating and sharing videos which promote The Right Side of Outside. It’s our pleasure to collate these now into one easy to binge series! To watch a video, just click the corresponding image.
First up, the one that kicked it all off:

A refreshing look at responsible outdoor behaviour, Shane has been a huge supporter of the Right Side of Outside campaign.
2. A New Addition to the Family
In 2023, we added ‘Get Involved, Protect the Environment’ to our Right Side of Outside Campaign, and this video emphasises it as well as our other important points.
3. Shane Todd is Back
In this video, Shane Todd is back with his friend and fellow comedia, William Thompson. Less focused on the Right Side of Outside, it acts as a reminder to the joy to be found in the outdoors with a friend.
4. Mother Nature is Fed Up with Irresponsible Wild Campers
Serena Terry, better known often as ‘Mammy Banter’ online, helped with this video, playing the role of a more than slightly peaved Mother Nature fed up with irresponsible wild campers.
5. Protecting Sheep Protects Your Dog
A more sombre video, this one shows an instance in which a loving dog walker unthinkingly takes the lead off her dog – resulting in a terrible outcome for everyone. If you love your dog, please keep them on a lead.
6. Dog Poo with Shane Todd
Mike McGoldrick has a problem with dog poo. And the Holylands, but that’s a seperate issue. Check out some of his inventive critiques of the Holywood locals leaving a mess behind them (via their pets) by clicking the image above.
7. Take Your Litter Home (or else…)
Our final Mike McGoldrick entry, Shane Todd this time bemoans the influx of people, and subsequent litter, that the good weather brings to his golden shores. Please always take your litter home with you.
