Could you be walking on egg shells?

A recent post from our friends at Leave No Trace Ireland is highlighting the importance of being careful where you walk in the outdoors, specifically if you’re walking off trail.

Ireland’s ground-nesting birds build their homes between March and July, meaning if you or your little ones (or your four legged pals) run off trail, you could be causing serious damage.

As the original post from Leave No Trace Ireland makes clear, the island of Ireland has lost 90% of our breeding curlew, with other birds in serious decline.
